Dorothy Hodgkin: a woman who changed the world

This week on All The Brilliants I celebrate a Power Woman story about Dorothy Hodgkin with a jewel by Ornella Iannuzzi. Both women were inspired by the formation of crystals!

On a shocking note, Nobel Prizes have been awarded to 866 men, compared to 54 women. 3 women won for physics and 5 women for chemistry. Dorothy is one of those five. I can’t wait for this ever-growing wave of incredible women in STEM to overwhelm the Nobel Committee culture in ways they will soon be unable to deny!

There is also a lot of science packed into this month's jewelry wardrobe theme: Color Changelings. You will NOT want to miss the beautiful science behind the jewelry ingredients in the work of Cora Sheibani, and Dubini Jewellery.
